Nucleus® Hybrid™ L24 Implant System New Enrollment Study

What This research study is a long-term evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of the Nucleus Hybrid L24 cochlear implant system.

Who Patients who have severe hearing loss for high-pitched sounds but reasonably good hearing for lower pitched sounds, and who do not understand speech well with hearing aids alone may be eligible to participate in this research study.

Pay The sponsor, Cochlear Americas, will pay $12.50 per hour to participants in the study based on the estimated predefined time participants spend per session.

Dr. Ravi Samy has been an otolaryngologist at the University of Cincinnati Neuroscience Institute and the director of the Skull Base Surgery Fellowship at the UC College of Medicine since 2005. He is also the director of the Adult Cochlear Implantation Program at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC), as well as an associate professor of Otolaryngology at the college. READ MORE>
